Continuing Education
Welcome to the Continuing Education section of our website. Here you’ll find a link to the Montana Board of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists site, as well as information for how to obtain MSHA and/or ASHA approved CEUs.
Montana Board of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists:
State licensure requires 10 hours per year of continuing education, and ASHA certification requires 30 hours during each 3-year certification maintenance interval. MSHA sponsored CEUs follow the same standard set by ASHA. The Montana Board of Speech-language Pathology and Audiology accepts both MSHA and ASHA CEUs. MSHA and ASHA CEU Approval:
MSHA is an ASHA Approved CE Provider. We are the only ASHA approved CE Provider in the state of Montana. In this role, we conduct, evaluate, and continuously improve our continuing education (CE) courses using the standards and requirements established by the ASHA Continuing Education Board (CEB). AS CEA (Continuing Education Administrator), Julie Vetter is liaison between ASHA and MSHA. Mary Callahan and Julie Vetter are the Continuing Education Administrators.

If the event offers only MSHA but not ASHA CEUs, you can submit these to ASHA on your own through the following form if you are audited.
